Sustainability has become increasingly important to us as a company – not just because customers have increasingly made sustainability a key element in their businesses - but because we recognise our need to do our part in improving the sustainability of the service we offer to ensure we have as little impact on the planet as we can.

We have made many sensible improvements so far - sensor-controlled LED light fittings in offices and depots, segregation and recycling of our waste, efficient planning of jobs to ensure travel mileages are kept to a minimum, a company car policy since 2021 that dictates all new cars are to be hybrid or fully electric - but we realise we still need to go further.

To this end we have partnered with the well-known climate solutions company ‘Positive Planet’ to help us better understand our carbon emissions, measure these, and put in place a realistic and achievable carbon reduction plan to allow us to measure our success and demonstrate a real ambition to improve our performance.

This will undoubtedly be a challenge but Centurion are committed to providing a service to our customers that is both of a high quality and sustainable standard.
